Google Set to Launch Gemini Business and Enterprise Plans for Workspace
[ad_1]
Reports indicate Google is preparing to introduce two new subscription tiers—Gemini Enterprise and Gemini Business—directly into Google Workspace. Subscribers to these plans will unlock access to the company’s most advanced AI model, Gemini Ultra 1.0, across Workspace applications. Both tiers promise expanded capabilities and, crucially, guarantee that organizational conversations and corporate data will not be used to train Google’s AI models.
The news originates from a post by a reliable source on X. According to the leak, holders of Gemini Enterprise and Gemini Business subscriptions will be able to leverage the Ultra 1.0 model within the Workspace ecosystem. While Google is actively rebranding its AI portfolio under the Gemini name, AI features in Workspace currently still operate under the Duet AI moniker; however, the company has confirmed a future transition to Gemini for Workspace.

Gemini Ultra 1.0 in Google Workspace
The upcoming Gemini Enterprise and Gemini Business plans will grant Google Workspace customers access to one of the search giant’s most powerful foundation models: Gemini Ultra 1.0. A key differentiator for these subscriptions is enhanced data sovereignty; they are designed to protect sensitive organizational information. Initially, these offerings will support English and be available in over 100 countries and territories.
The new commercial and enterprise tiers are effectively positioned to replace Duet AI, the existing subscription service for AI-powered features in Workspace. Previously, Google priced Duet AI at $30 per user per month. With the AI portfolio now splitting into two distinct subscriptions, the specific feature breakdown for each tier remains unclear.

The advanced Ultra 1.0 model brings a suite of enhanced capabilities—including sophisticated writing and editing assistance, organizational tools, and deep integration across core apps like Gmail, Drive, Sheets, Slides, Docs, and Meet. Additionally, this AI enables direct Python code execution within the Gemini interface, streamlining technical workflows.
Prior to this enterprise push, Google launched the Google One AI Premium plan at $19.99 per month, targeting individual consumers seeking access to Gemini’s advanced features.
